Mr. Holland has extensive trial experience in complex civil cases. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in federal, state, appellate and bankruptcy courts and administrative forums in matters involving high tech trade secrets; employment disputes; gender, race and handicap discrimination; non-competition agreements; intellectual property disputes including trade name infringement and misappropriation of proprietary business plans; personal injury, real estate matters; fraudulent conveyances; zoning issues and actions to collect on promissory notes and guarantees.
Alan Kowalczyk has extensive multi-jurisdictional state and federal civil litigation experience. Since joining the firm in 2003, he has concentrated his practice in managing litigation in a wide array of areas for large corporations facing numerous legal issues throughout the United States. His experience in overseeing litigation and coordinating with local counsel has enabled his clients to minimize both expense and disruption of business in addition to achieving the best possible results through a dismissal, settlement or trial. In addition, he also represents his clients in both federal and state courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He has significant experience in appellate procedure, appellate level research, analysis and critical brief writing.
Barbara Cohen has over 30 years of employment law and business litigation experience. Ms. Cohen has an active practice counseling employers and defending claims, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims, in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies.
Ms. Deragon joined Litigation Management Counsel after spending six years as a civil litigation attorney at a prominent law firm in Hartford, Connecticut.
Alicia Marcello is the firm’s Administrator and Financial Controller. She is responsible for management and oversight of the firm’s daily operations and financial activity. Alicia has over ten years of professional experience in both the private and public accounting industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Johnson & Wales University.
Diane Pellegrino has over 26 years’ experience in the legal field. Her legal work experience includes Corporations, Probate, Collections, Insurance Defense, Personal injury and Litigation for both plaintiff and defense attorneys. During that period, she raised a son and volunteers her time to A Wish Come True, a local organization that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. She has worked for Litigation Management Counsel for over 9 years.
