Career Highlights
Mr. Tucker has acted as National Coordinating Counsel for Owens Corning in its asbestos property damage litigation and as coordinating counsel and senior trial counsel in the personal injury litigation. He has worked with courts to prepare case management rules for mass tort litigation. He has trained attorneys and attorney support groups for other firms to handle mass tort litigation and has created concepts for in-house legal departments to manage their repetitive litigation.

Mr. Tucker is a widely experienced litigator, having tried cases to verdict in 33 jurisdictions in the United States and 5 countries.

In the course of the overwhelming volume of asbestos litigation, Tucker’s firm partnered with Booz Allen Hamilton to create tactics and strategies by which a client faced with repetitive and continuous tort litigation arising out of its everyday course of business would standardize and articulate its position and philosophy to various courts across the country in a uniform, comprehensive and forthcoming manner.

The principals of segmentation plus the articulation of attorney and paralegal training were originally developed and implemented as part of the defense of the asbestos personal injury litigation. Since that time, Mr. Tucker has developed strategies for self-insured corporations with repetitive litigation arising out of their ordinary business activities (pharmacy chain, regional financial institution and national/international restaurant companies) which allow these organizations to manage their self-insured litigation in an efficient, comprehensive and cost effective manner.
